First horror movie by this guy, perhaps first Maroccan horror movie ever to make it internationally. Then the movie would be so much more! Oh- and Achoura is NOT only a Maroccan celebration.
It's a movie with a lot on it's mind, and I'm not surprised. Word has it that Achoura is Morocco's first horror movie. Mixing folklore fairytales with horror, Achoura works well within this wheelhouse.
